Commonly accepted
Materials that usually work.
- Household garbage
- Yard waste and tree branches
- Construction and demolition debris
- Wood and lumber
- Drywall and renovation debris
- Old furniture, couches, chairs, and tables
- Roofing debris in 12-yard bins only
- Mattresses placed upright along the side or front edge
Not allowed
Do not put these in the bin.
- Concrete, brick, soil, or dirt
- Asbestos or other hazardous waste
- Paint, paint thinner, solvents, chemicals, or liquids
- Used oil, fuel, or propane tanks
- Tires or metal
- Electronic waste or e-waste
Place mattresses along the side or at the front. Do not lay them flat on the bottom.
Fridges, freezers, air conditioners, water coolers, and dehumidifiers must be disclosed.
Extra charges may apply. Prohibited items may result in additional sorting, handling, removal, return-trip, or disposal charges.
